Arnold and Scangas Architects teamed with the Rutland County Community Land Trust to create a positive infill development providing 10 new residential apartments in an existing residential neighborhood in Rutland. Initially not well received by residents of the community, this project has become a beacon of revitalization for the neighborhood. Taking design cues from the massing, scale and details of nearby homes, the design is sensitive to the surrounding residential fabric and creates a welcoming impression for all who visit.
