Arnold & Scangas Architects provided the feasibility study and complete architectural services for the Rutland County Community Land Trust for the CCP Scattered Sites Project. The project consisted of five sites located in Rutland, Vermont. Significant energy-saving features were included in the project, including solar hot water systems. The building at 42 Pine Street was historically restored and a small addition was added providing three apartments. The buildings at 44 and 46 Pine Street and at 27 Cottage St. were determined to be structurally unstable and were demolished. The new buildings on these sites confors to the street pattern of the existing housing and provides 13 units of housing including four ADA units.
