Working for the City of St. Albans and Lake Champlain Housing Development Corporation, we renovated the long-neglected American House Annex and Franklin Heights for a mixed-use development. Built circa 1815 and modified in the early 1900’s, these buildings are significant historic structures in the St. Albans Downtown Historic District and occupy an important street presence for the downtown. The project provided street-level retail, office space and seven apartments, and complied with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
