Colchester Town Offices

Arnold & Scangas Architects provided complete architectural services to the Town of Colchester for a new municipal building. From initial space need studies, programming and public presentations for bond vote to construction documents and administration, Arnold & Scangas met the client’s needs to create a welcoming, efficient and aesthetically pleasing municipal building for the Town. The new Municipal Office Building provides easy visitor access to the different Town departments. The Town Clerk’s Office and Planning & Zoning, the two departments that generate the most visitor traffic, are located on the first floor off a central lobby/corridor. On the second floor, visitors can find the Parks & Recreation Department right next to the elevator. Further down the corridor is the Town Manager’s Office and the Public Works Department.
