Arnold & Scangas Architects was responsible for overseeing and managing the entire LEED process for the $48.2M, 800-bed Student Residential Learning Complex project comprised of 6 student residence buildings. In addition to facilitating implementation of green building and environmental goals for the project, we performed reviews, analyses, calculations, and developed drawings needed for LEED documentation. Through our involvement on this project, we have improved on the University’s original goal of obtaining a LEED certified building, the lowest level of LEED certification, and “raised the bar” to a project anticipated to receive LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
