Peoples Trust Company

The renovation of the 1896 St. Albans City Fire Station provided an ideal opportunity for the People’s Trust Company to expand their services for the downtown community. Working closely with the client, we evaluated the needs of the People’s Trust Company and developed a four-phase project which included renovating the two-story Fire Station; designing a two-story addition to the existing bank building and a bridge connection between the two buildings; restoring the exterior façade of their existing brownstone building, and designing a new building on the site. The comprehensive design is sensitive to the character of the downtown historic district and restores landmark buildings, while creating a modern and complete facility for the bank.
