Public Safety Facility

Working for the Department of State Buildings and General Services, we provided architectural and engineering services for the programming, design and construction administration of a new Public Safety Facility in Derby. The project’s mission was to create a state-of-the-art, Vermont-vernacular prototype. The building is highly energy efficient and qualified for financial incentives from Efficiency Vermont. The plan is flexible so that it can easily be enlarged or reduced and will be used as a model for similar facilities throughout the state. We are currently applying the prototype design to sites in New Haven, Royalton, and St. Albans.
